Really like that first one. I'm on the hunt for a couple ties meself. Looking for some nice pairings with the new suit.

I assume that was just a reflection or something.

What is it about the tie that strikes you as more F/W, color, pattern? Do you think the tie does not have robust enough texture to pair with the open weave of the SC?

Thank you for the alternate suggestions.

Color and pattern. But damned if something that sheer isn't a S/S tie. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Nah, it works as a F/W tie to, under the right circumstances....

This looks really nice. Can I ask if you think it might be a bit busy? Tri-colored block stripe?

Thanks.

It probably leans towards busy. Which is fine as long as you surround it with sedate pieces.

Busy is not the first word which comes to mind. Or the second. Or third, for that matter.
what words then do come to you mind, SB, upon seeing that tie?

Thanks. I would be curious to see it in a fit when it comes. That navy/green block stripe looks fantastic and would pair nicely with brown suits/SCs.

Returning to the topic at the start of this thread, ties, I’d like to know what people would recommend now as a versatile brown neat.

Your absolute current favorites, gentlemen?   Many thanks.

Cheers,
