Noodl's, you are like a pinball, constantly rebounding from one bumper to the next. Occasionally you take partial control and manage to use the flippers. I suppose it keeps things lively, since one never knows where you'll bounce to next. (Do pinball machines still exist in the virtual world?)

Re: possibly being fired from your job based on your contributions here: hopefully that is a bit of hyperbole, since any one of your co-workers (or bosses...?) could rather easily identify you, should they happen to stumble upon our little Isle of Style. Yeah, I'm gonna chalk it up to excess, since I know you're smart enough to realize that by showing your face you are exposed for all to see and marvel at.

Yes, the possibility of them finding me here and or my boss firing me based on what I said here is pretty much a non-threat. I have successfully passed on what I have learned from SF to my team. I took two of them to SS and got them SF compliant suits (one had to go MTM) and I was there to make sure that they picked the right suits and  all that. I have brought them out of Express, JosABanks, MensWearHouse. And I've told them how to properly tie a knot, making sure your collars are touching the lapels, that they don't go for the trendy narrow lapels, tie recommendations, get them to start wearing good shoes like EG or Aldens, etc.

Pinball, you're right. I try to keep this thread going so maybe that's why it seems like I am throwing up random stuff for discussion.

Also, the fabric was very fuck you (mid blue with brown fancy windowpane) and not something I could wear more than a few times a month. Fuck. Damn it. I want it.

Went through their tumblr to find it. And I don't know who I'm kidding. The blue houndstooth can wait. This is a thing of beauty.

I'd say Hallelujah to that.

Some canary yellow pleated trews and red tassel loafers, no socks ('course!) and you're good to go.

Alright, I'm giving them a call when they open in a few hours to let them know to start on it. Hopefully the first fitting will be ready by the time the other jacket is finished. It would be nice to save me that trip.
