Too short and just kind of not really shaped right for you IMHO. I'm not a tailor so I won't try to diagnose further than that, but from the photos, doesn't look like a very good fit.

+1, move on.

Yeah that's what I was feeling too. It just hasn't been a good day. baldy[1].gif

JR, you're going to return this, but one other thing you might keep in mind when you look at jackets...the gorge seems on the high side to me although it might be the angle. Either way, something to consider as well. Don't go too high (in the bottom picture, it almost looks on top of your shoulder!...though perhaps an optical illusion).

I'm sure you know this, but I think it would be better to stick to things that you know the exact measurements of, or just go to stores so you can try stuff on. For example, if you know your ideal jacket is 31" long, stick to that, no matter how good the deal is.

With standard caveats, I'd say: (a) as with everyone else, way too short (2", even?); (b) re: your hips, maybe try a jacket with less tuck in the midsection -- the hourglass effect should be fixable with a sack-ier cut, right? Again, caveats.

Both points taken and true. I had a brain fart apparently I thought +30" length was acceptable but I think it's more like 32-33". Learning things the hard way baldy[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Just met Stitchie and one of the first things that my wife said was, "I like his pants."

I is jealous!

Thank you again Stitchie.

Doodals, that would be the American 'pants' right?

He's a robot, I tell you all!

It's like he's trying to get his post count up with generic comments...
