Kent's shoes are made by D. C. Lewin, a shoe company started here on SF which has built a decent reputation. I keep meaning to buy some of their shoes.

They are great shoes...near Carmina quality in my opinion.

They have Carminas too. It's not too late. But I asked for the best bang for ur buck and he recommended C&J. He even had E.Green.

Can't go wrong with any of those. If those C&Js are what you need, they are a great choice.

So no issue with hand grade???
Hand grade vs bench is mostly about exclusivity and stylish but nonfunctional details like channeled soles. Handgrade might also use slightly choicier cuts from the hide, which is valuable. But bench grade CJ is a very nice shoe, especially if you like the elongated CJ lasts.

Doodals, just back from th links and see matters have moved on a pace.

Those are Hallams as you know, which are the same as posted/suggested/discussed yesterday.

Kop! If not already.

Hand grade is great to go, no doubt. You will also appreciate Bench for a host of reasons, but for now...

Did you talk lasts with yer man there?

Good work Doodals

Yes sir.
I talked to him about the last and he cobfirmed. I did not kop it because I don't need it now and need cash for wedding and honeymoon.

So how should we proceed?
9.5 size
But I want hand grade.

Oh, I get it, I seen what you did there. You on a recon mission today?

Good move if you were, did you try different lasts and sizes and arrived at 9.5 on 348?

So was that 9.5 UK or 9.5 US?
Last was good. Size 9.5 was perfect. I confirmed the last # with the shoe dude. He was not a sales person but someone who actually makes or works on shoes. I don't know if it was US size or UK size.
Can you tell from this pic?
I've looked and sadly no.

I'm going to assume that if your in Murrica and when asked your size you responded "i'm usually 9.5" then you would have tried on 9.5US.

Shame coz sourced this here only a few mins ago

Never mind...
I said 9.5 and I have always been 10 or in that range. The RLBL shoes that I have are 10s and they're big on me. I have a measuring tape. I wonder if I should just measure it or just get the shoes. Lol
