Good Natured Advice Thread (improving a business wardrobe) - Page 2387

In that spirit - I pre-ordered a coat from Norwegian Rain. It was a knee-length coat but the sizing was off. I can either wait another 3 months for a knee-length in my size, or take a mid length right now. Difference in length is about 4 inches. Thoughts? I'm put off by the modern trend for short outerwear

I would definitely wait for the knee length. That sucks though. =/

I think you answered your own question. Better to wait for something you'll be happy with than settle for something you'll never fully like.

This is a lesson for life!

You were urging me to kop now you're telling me to wait? My lizard brain can't handle this

McFox, I like the jacket (too late to influence your decision, but happy to endorse it), and I think it looks pretty swell as accessorized in both pictures.

After trying on these heavily (?) padded shouldered jackets, I think I will continue to look at more English style (?) shouldered jackets... although I do not think you can call these English style. But I definitely like the "shirt" shoulders that you get with the Fxmxsx jackets.

I think those look good.shoulders and all! Quarters could be a bit more open tho.

(On my phone though)

Only some look better than the second one (in terms of fit).

Lazio is still one of the best fitting things I've seen on him
post #35801 of 37396
Just as FYI, those jackets are CHAPS from Kohl's (Caustics favorite store).

@Claghorn
Agree on that Lazio. The pic still is online when you google "noodles lazio suit." And for the record, the TF suit fit me the best, I believe.

Groundhog Day:
Well then the question now is do I just pull the trigger on the Fxrmxsx sharkskin. Easy access and affordable

Noodles. I recommend you do whatever will create the most entertainment value for this thread going forward.

Your response is something that I have earned with my past behavior. So you can choose to take me seriously or to take me as a goofball living the Groundhog Day.

Full price Tom Ford would do that.
