I'm still skeptical. 15 lbs of pure, lean muscle gain in 6-7 months is virtually impossible drug-free, unless you are 16-18 years old, in the prime of puberty and have raging testosterone levels and are experiencing "noob" gains. Something like 4-6 pounds of lean muscle gain per year is about the maximum possible drug-free for a lifter past the noob gain phase.

What is deadlift? Are you talking about strenght, or specific exercise?
Here is a recommendation. Jump in a swimming pool. Have two guys your size jump on your back, you need to keep head and both hands above water. Then swim few times across the pool. Then start over for an hour. Keep in mind that average waterpolo player is 190cm/100kg. That's waterpolo. ;-)

I wish you dont have to show your "strenght" to pro player.

you forgot the part where they pants the opposing player, pull, punch, and pinch each other, etc. You know, the actual hard part.

+1. There is so much narrow minded BS flowing back and forth it's ridiculous. I bet the water polo guy is in much better shape and has better real world strength than any of the idiots laughing at him.

The bolded part isn't weird. It's more like ...

A few different times there have been all sorts of suggestions covering the entire exercise spectrum and it would spiral into a mix of trolling and debating. And half the time, the suggestions weren't even informed ones.

It is interesting how they jumped and bit the part how I know nothing about strenght training and deadlifts etc etc. I always love that part. Shows meatheads usually lack strenght where it's needed the most - between the ears.

Show me one contact sport where strenght training is not part of the exercise... Deadlifts. Give me a break.

Who is 'they'? Just wanted to be clear to whom you were referring before I respond.

*Sigh*

So many assumptions on both sides of this discussion. Claghorn said he goes to the gym about 4 hours a week, is he a meathead, too?

Ah, the quarterly gym bickering has begun again...carrying on....

It's good to have traditions.

Noodles. Just get a simple routine and stick to it for 3 months so you can actually progress instead of dawdling around.

If you're only doing one exercise period, which it sounds like you're planning to do, then that's pretty ridiculous lol.

Actually he said added 15 lbs and stayed at the same BF%. Nice math fail.

Also, 15 lbs of muscle in 6-7 months is pretty consistent with some that either hasn't lifted before (as you said) or has taken a pretty long break. Also, I'm pretty sure the 4-6 lbs muscle limit is more related to someone that's a body builder and pretty solid already.

So many posts already and no half naked photos. Hmmm, strange...

You realize that adding muscle to your delts adds width to your shoulders right? When someone says they want to broaden their shoulders, they're not saying that they magically want their bones to get wider.
