I don't know man. I have an 02 subaru and I drove my housemates camry which I think is a lease. My car's feel is a bajillion times better. The interior is nice, but the road feel and steering just don't do it for me at all.

Subaru cultism vs Camry cultism. Neither side realizes the error of its ways.

Gents

Random question, maybe not for here but many wise minds here! Looking at getting some mtm shirts, French cuffs. Wrist measures around 6.5 inches (yes yes, girly). Can't find a general rule per say, but assuming 8 inches French cuff would be suitable? Too big, too small? Insight appreciated as always.

FWIW my wrists are 6.75" and my cuffs are all 7.75". I could probably shave off 0.25" if I wanted to but shrinkage is a little unpredictable between fabrics so I err on the side of larger

Thank you kindly, sir. Is that with French cuffs?

Both French and button

Wonderful! I will likely go for 7.75, 1.25 more than my wrist (err a little on the side of caution...)

The traditional principle is that the cuff should be snug enough that you can't remove the shirt without unfastening the cuff, but no snugger.

Use one of your current shirts as a model, adding or subtracting width until you achieve that effect.

Cheers,

I drove a camry through college lol.

My subaru isn't anything special. No turbo or any of that crazy stuff.

I'm looking for a pair of versatile brown winter boots that could be dressed up or down

Both nice. Is the top one C&J?

These are both open-laced. A true balmoral boot with closed lacing would be stealthier poking out from under suit trousers.

OTOH such niceties of form never stopped me.

Top is Carmina in grain. Bottom is Carlos Santos, one of Skoaktiebolaget's new offerings from Portugal
