Waist level is ideal.

Sleeve length looks pretty short, no? Even if you like showing more cuff than the average person, those sleeves will ride way up if you're sitting down while wearing that jacket.

I was going to recommend a 38L but the jacket length of the 38R looks to be on the longer side of acceptable so the 38L could end up being too long.

HAHAHAHA that is so Asian. :fu: "No no no, if I lift a camera I might lose the baby!"

@DonRaphael another hotel suggestion for London:

Best Western Premier Shaftesbury Hotel
65 - 73 Shaftesbury Avenue
London, W1D 6EX
Phone     +442077451212

I am notorious for my cheapskateness when it comes to hotels, restaurants and suchlike. This place was acceptable, in fact pretty comfortable, although with many stairs. The location however can't be bettered. The only way you could be more central than this would be to set up a tent right under the Eros statue on Piccadilly Circus itself.

Where the heck did you stay when you were in Seoul last year? I believe you got a 1st class treatment.

Sleeve length is a tad short, but going a size up or going L will make the overall fit worse. This fabric drapes well.

I see some extra fabric in the mid/upper back scapula area. Is that me or am I just imagining?

Slight derailment: I am officially a Ph.D candidate. Any USEFUL advice from those of you who have, or are, walking this path?

For what it's worth, three separate faculty members told me that they always tell prospective PhD candidates not to do it.

Probably a good idea. Makes sure only the people who truly want it and have the motivation go forward.

I, optimistically, assumed that this was the case.

So, what are you studying?

U.S. agricultural and economic history, in all likelihood.
