Speaking of Tom Ford, noticed that Jon Oliver seemed to be wearing a TF suit in the latest episode. Look at the shoulders, peak lapels, and diagonal hole on the lapel

Strange choice to be wearing a decadant $4k suit when he has many populist rants

Who knows, rosewood? Maple? It will be up to the Mrs.

F### Jon Oliver. What's a freaking brit running an American tv show with a very annoying brit accent, and I luv brit accent!

Go Team Coco and Connan!

That's beside the point. It does not fit his personality or subject matter of the show. Do you watch it regularly?

I already know what he's going to say, but I want to wait for entertainment purposes.

Talent over accent! I love John Oliver.

I'm not much of a TV person, anyways. I'm more consumed by music. I'll say this, though ... I feel like we've been gifted some very talented late night TV personalities over the past decade or so. Jon Stewart, Conan O'Brien, John Oliver, David Letterman (obviously goes well beyond a decade) ...

If we consider late night TV a family, and every family has a fuck up, that family's fuck up is Jay Leno.

And James Corden is his lazy, good for nothing, son.

Oh man. I don't even know that name. Just reinforces what I said about not being a TV person.

Except for the patch pockets, the screams "suit." The color (and not just that it's gray but the actual shade of gray) and the fabric are very much something you'd expect with a suit.

There are gray odd jackets and they will have patch pockets, but you'll see them with much, much coarser fabric than that.

Blue or brown. Look into those colors until you are both comfortable and have a good jacket rotation.

Jay Leno = Pathetic. The worst.

I only watch TV when football is on. So I won't be turning ony TV until next September.

Clags - I believe that was a bad picture in ebay. Does this material look still too worsted/suit like? What would you suggest? Thx!!!

Those seem to be two entirely different jackets. The first is gray, longer relative to the sleeves, and with wider lapels. The second is brown, shorter, and has narrower lapels.

The fabric of the second is fine, but it seems too short. So pass on that as well
