Wholecuts are divisive (some consider them neither fish nor fowl), but I like those quite a bit and could see them pairing well with sportcoats or more casual suits.  I bet they'd really shine in early spring and early autumn since they invoke an in-between seasons vibe.

For me it's not the bother—it's the security risk.  I'll usually only follow a link if it goes to a site I've already visited and have reason to believe is malware free.

No disrespect intended to this or any other poster who provided the link, by the way.  I'm just sharing a reasonable concern which some have.

Cheers,

Ac

 Speaking of links ...

A public service announcement:  Jos. A. Banks is having a sale on their cedar shoe trees ($12.50).  Google "jos. a bank "shoe trees"."

There's some photos for anyone interested. I appreciate the comments on the shoes, and also the feedback on forum behavior.

Any thoughts on what sort of outfit(s) you'd wear these with?

Cheers,

Your timing is impeccable, Ac2--two new pairs of shoes are inbound, and they need some trees to cuddle with.

I think Jos a Bank trees are the normal woodlore ones, but I could be wrong

Only size S and XL left. Their existence is hidden online over the past couple weeks when I looked for them. Either they are discontinuing the product or I cannot navigate the Internet.

The sale just started today:  the e-mail announcement went out late last night.  I picked up a couple this morning.

Any fans of this necktie from Vanda?
And what is a good length for someone who's 6 ft tall?

I like it (though it is a tad dense). Who is your six foot friend?

@The Noodles is back? What happened to @Cao Cao?

I am the 6 footer. That really is the only tie that I liked.

He had to go back to rule his kingdom.
Oh and I might as well send you that tie since we are not going to Seoul in 2016.

Casual suits and odd jackets. I'm having a blue hopsack suit made up by Kent Wang in the near future (insert "garbage man's Sunday's best" reference here) and I wear a lot of blue and brown jackets with gray trousers. In a perfect world I could pair them with jeans, but I don't think that would work IRL.
