Thanks bro's. I was worried the small scale herringbone, almost worsted looking fabric was a deal killer.

Hey nothing wrong with a red tie.

There's nothing wrong with scarlet ties like that one, and even less with crimson/light burgundy ties like cezinho's. It's just that scarlet ties are not CBD, since they tread close to garishness. Wine and maroon are the shades of red that are uncontroversially CBD. Dark crimson like cezinho's is in a gray area.

definitely prefer maroon, burgundy, and rust over fire-engine-red

I think that holds true with highly saturated shades of most colors (i.e. orange, green, yellow, purple). Exceptions maybe blue and brown.

Damn you lol, now I foresee both a 100% silk and wool/silk kop in the Wave!

So now I have tan, khaki, hunter green chinos. Plus one pair of blue jeans. All for casual wear. Are there any other colors you guys recommend?

Cream/cricket white. Both in jeans and chinos.

White jeans? If you live in Cali and wear white jeans, people will just assume you're European.

Used to have tons of jeans, but now just. Need to get two more. One in dark grey and one in dark blue.

White jeans - I have a pair that I wore on vacay.

Cream/cricket white - hmmm that sounds like an even lighter shade of khaki - right?

Not it has less red/orange I think.
