Good Natured Advice Thread (improving a business wardrobe) - Page 2131

Thoughts:

1. Disagree completely with Sprout about DBs. If you've got the physique for it, sport it...can't say I'd have the "steez" to wear an ascot with one, or with any piece of clothing, for that matter.
2. Agree completely with Sprout about jeans. Fubu is where it's at...bufu as well.
3. Gustin is definitely not low quality, in regards to durability. My tastes have banished jeans to über casual wear strictly, but I have a handful of gustin jeans that I've beaten the hell out of and have more than held up to the abuse.

I'd actually be curious to try theirs, or another brand, of extremely heavy raw denim that I could really beat the heck out of.

Glad jeans aren't a priority. JC and BR work fine for me.

I think the dark shirt is a bit too dark to go with jacket and tie. Though dark denimish shirts seem to be sort of trending (and can look good. @EFV comes to mind).

I have one double breasted. Solid navy F/W. I wouldn't mind owning a nice solid brown DB, though there are a few other pieces I'd probably want first.

I doubt I'd go beyond two DB's. I'm just not (psychologically) comfortable in them.

I have a pair of APC Rescue and I want to get another. Called APC and they don't make them anymore. Any recommendations for something with a similar fit?

Just got a pair of Epaulet Wilshire cut jeans to be a companion to my APC Petit New Standards (the first wash left them a fairly bright blue) and I love their higher rise and and more conservative cut.

The PNS (haha) is less slim than the PS. I think we're on the wrong side of the forum here.

Do we think this would make a good CBD workhorse suit?

^ As long as you don't wear your tie like that. wink.gif

Where is that suit from?

The place that you're losing a bet to Elioda on.

Those pockets are clags approved.
