Very nice look

So kind of going back to navy pants a second.  I know I wore these monday but it's cold as fawk today so I wanted to try my HY pants with this SC to see if it's working.  Rocking my only Kamakura shirt too.  Tie knots too big maybe now that I see it in a pic.

really need a full pic, but i think those pants are not right for the SC (which is beautiful btw). too dark and similar in shade. a slighter brighter than navy, or navy, would work, or light/dove gray.

those look like darker than mid gray pants, which can be pretty tricky unless your SC is definitively lighter than the pants.

They are the HY Light Worsted Flannel Blue - admittedly a bit darker irl.

that is what you are wearing in the fit pic in your previous post or that is what you are thinking to kop and wear with the SC?

Thats the one I'm wearing now yes.  It's HY's stock picture.  In daylight they look lighter but I took the pic in my office with mostly fluorescent lighting.

ah. well, without proper color representations its impossible to say. your SC with pants based on the stock pic i think would look good, but based on your pic its sub optimal. : (

Yeah probably.  I was playing with my camera a bit to show how it looks in decent lighting aka not my office.

@Rudals

This is why, if you want to wear navy ties, you've got to own gray. Also why I don't feel the need for navy with white pin dots (I feel that in any situation where white pindots are a good choice, this'll be the better choice)

Good video on Kama

Nice look there, Clag. And light gray definitely makes the navy stand out more. I'm not a fan of a charcoal suit and navy tie - too dark on dark for my eyes.

Not sure I like that shirt, Clag

I think I prefer shirts with a white ground to have narrower spacing of the stripes
