While we're completely and utterly derailing this thread, the Catholic in me can't resist a link to Humanae Vitae. I think debating birth control is a step too far even for this thread, but if there's ever a time to link to a papal encyclical, this is it.

Yeah, but it's tongue and cheek and acknowledges that the majority of us (if not all of us) have things we should be doing besides posting on SF.

FWIW, I like students.

Considering how much time we'll all be wasting (I mean having fascinating and productive discussions) on said thread, should we make "Hour" plural?

Doesn't sound as good with the plural "elusion"

For what it's worth, It's been GNAT not NGNAT thread de facto for a very long time now.

Is "elusion" even a word?

I mean, there's illusion, and allusion, and elision...

Maybe I'm just a-loozhin' my marbles.

I have an alternative suggestion for the Grad Lounge's new title:

"Tweedy's Very Serious Menswear Discussion Group".

Tongue in cheek, of course.

I didn't think that it would be an odd word. Just the noun form of "elude"

Let this thread die...

If he bothers you that much put him on your block list and unsubscribe from this thread because you seem to be bickering about him an awful lot.

Please don't start another GNAT thread.

As for the Grad Lounge, my sense is that most of the content boils down to "Why does X work or not work?" A title which captured that essence would at least be descriptive. But is it necessary...
