Good Natured Advice Thread (improving a business wardrobe) - Page 1937

"The Non-Pretentious and Non-Dumb Thread" might work ...

Cheers,

Interviews coming up for me.

Should I just stick with navy birdseye? Or can the grey suit be acceptable (it seems unlikely that it will sell)

PS

Hates posts can be sent straight to my PM box. Let's not do it here.

But masturbation is literally the least bad word-y way of saying masturbation

Noodles - both are fine, wear whichever one lets you focus on the interview and worry less about your appearance.

Don't be breaking down my after-the-fact excuses!

I have only one word to add:

Onanism.

Noodles - IMO stick to the birdseye. The grey suit is a fine color for regular office wear, but I prefer something a bit darker for interviews.

Let this thread die...

At the risk of derailing this thread even further, I thought that there was doubt/confusion as to whether Onan was "self-pleasuring" (there's yet another expression for you!) or whether he was practicing premature withdrawal, when he spilled his seed upon the ground?

The main issue, according to the Bible, was that by doing what he did, Onan was wasting his seed instead of trying to have more children, which is what God/Yahweh wanted him to do. The Catholic aversion to birth control stems from that incident, I believe.

If there's consensus for putting this thread to bed, fine. Seems a shame since a lot of people other than Noodles have been helped here. Maybe it's time to create a general GNAT and have people start posting there but that's above my pay grade. As for me, my general instinct is to be helpful within reason.

Though if y'all want this renamed to Good Natured Advice Thread, I'm fine with it. whnay's is pretty dead, and the title was always mean as a parody of that.
