What color did you order? I wish Hober would have a pico grenadine in Charcoal grey.

Anyways, I look forward to buying all the mavy ties that will go with this new suit.

Wait...which one. The one you saw me in or the one that I posted? That Noodles is different from the Noodles that you saw today. LOL

Yes, great seeing you as well. I'll keep you posted. Just ask JRD how fast I can pull the trigger once I make up my mind.

Yeah I dumped my black pos just this week.  It was a 10 year old bacrach that wasn't the greatest.  I got a nice grey one when I was in Poland, The killer Navy from JRD and I too have been eyeing some camel goodness.  I just need to narrow down the details on that.  I'm thinking db peak lapel but that might be too much.

Betel, I want to look like Daniel Craig version of James Bond. Think I need to get on roids and bulk up like Ahnerd. But the Sean Connery version is classic and that's cool too.

The Craig version is weird in that I'm sure Tom Ford tailored this for him, but it has a collar gap, and as I remember from the movie, it wasn't just the snapshot of the pose but gaped while he said his lines. I was bugged by it throughout the damn scene (i.e. did Ford really just give him something OTR? WTF?). Nearly ruined the film for me.

The suit in the film had a shitty cut. It was the skinny "Falconer" model, which is much less classically proportioned than the Continental-style "Base F" or whatever it's called.

You talking about these collars???

With regards to the softness, thinness of the grenadine material, Cappelli is still my favorite of anything available today. (I have a navy Paul Stuart pictured that is ridiculously thin and soft, but it's vintage)

The Hober feels a tad thicker than the Cappelli, and feels rougher

Left to right: Paul Stuart vintage, Cappelli, Hober
