This thread is increasingly uncomfortable.

Yes.

Yes.  As I'm sure others have noted prior to this, the title is bordering on ironic at this point.

BoA does (initiate a chargeback without telling you, though they'll mention they are investigating first). Though they do a lot of strange things (which is why I'm transitioning to USAA). So do a couple of other banks in Europe.

Mentioning legal recourse almost always comes across as a threat, I think.

Like I said before I did not initiate the chargeback

Please reread my post there is no mention of me sayin I will sue you Greg

I did not accuse Greg in any false way but now greg has falsely accused me of initiating a chargeback

Whether you initiated or not is beside the point of whether you were aware of it. When I travel, sometimes my purchases raises red flags with my credit card or bank, and I'm always sure to clear it up, so that a vendor doesn't have to deal with possible chargebacks.

As for the legal threat thing, yes -- if it's not obvious to you, telling someone you're going to seek legal recourse is a threat.

Everyone here treats you with soft, cutesy terms, and I don't understand it. You're difficult, unreasonable, ungrateful, petty, insensitive, petulant, over anxious, and contentious. Why nobody says that is really bizarre.

Just mentioning legal recourse carries this implication, whether you intended it to or not.

He gets plenty of shit.
He is difficult most of the time.
He is unreasonable some of the time.
He's never come across as ungrateful in my experience.
Nor has he come across as petty. He respectfully followed Greg's request to remove the "Formosa" from his posts without getting anything in return.
He's petulant, definitely overanxious, and contentious.

But when I say these things, they're an observation. And I say it without rancor.

---
Past behavior aside:
He received a mislabeled jacket. NMWA's/Formosa's bad. He altered it before realizing it. Noodles' bad. Shit happens and it can't be returned.

Maybe that should be the end of the story and we all move on?

This can be said for quite a few members on this side of the forum and SWD - their posting style and persona are annoying, but some people find it endearing. There a few that come to mind, and I'm positive many think the same about you. Most people just keep it to themselves rather than join a conversation mid way through and blurt it out.

Ignoring chargebacks and threatening to take legal action against Greg goes beyond having an online persona. Why do people feel this is just some fun, cutesy thing?

I don't think anyone finds that part endearing or fun, but it's also not the usual character of this thread--which usually has more overtones of vulnerability, self doubt, and figuring things out than of recrimination and defensiveness.  Or it did.

I really don't know why this fresco episode keeps coming back. Clearly no recourse to anything as stated by the terms of sale and vendor then sell or wear the damn thing and let's move the f* on

Fair enough. I don't follow this thread, so I'm probably hopping in at a bad time. The only other post I've seen from Noodles was one where he made a mean-spirited remark about someone's gender identity, which I found off-putting. That, combined with this interaction with NMWA, are my only real interactions with the guy, which is why I said what I said.
