So I looked at some of the other tailors in the NYC area, including Ercole, Reeves, Corvato, Fioravanti, and others (different price ranges, I know, but just did lots of research to get a feel). I decided I wanted to try something more British at first, since my impression is that it is more flattering for those with less-than-amazingly-athletic bodies than an Italian or American cut.

However, I think at some point I'll have to give Rubi a shot with a sports coat or something, even though it's the opposite of what I just said. They do come every two months, though, and some of their stuff just looks plain awesome.

Trousers-wise, I haven't really decided yet. I've talked to Ambrosi and NSM, but with the whole Ambrosi thing I might try NSM first.

LL = Leonard Logsdail?

I meant Zenga shirt, but the suit isn't bad either.

Well, I surprised that you haven't just walked into a store like Neiman Marcus and shelled out thousands already.

Yes, Leonard Logsdail. Seems like a really nice guy from the communications I've had with him, and it seems like he does good work, but I'll have to see.

Look at Despos. He's in Chicago.. but I dont think that is a problem for you. He often has clients who are not SF users (meaning he is used to having to educate and guide his clients, perfect for someone not used to bespoke)

Chicago/Dallas, right? I don't have a jet or anything, if that's what you were getting at, but I do have family in Dallas. Maybe I'll drop in sometime.

And look, if you guys are getting bored with whatever nonsense I'm talking about, just bring up something else. I just like discussing stuff.

No, I think SeaJen is talking about something else. Like he's sick of this thread and the cycle.

Oh. Well I just got here, and I'm sure as hell having fun.

Anyway, that's an easy problem to fix: unsub.
