So who calls this type of garment a singlet, and who calls it a wifebeater, er, a commonlawsignificantotherengagerinmutuallyconsentingor perhapsnotconsentingotheredbutwerealladultsheresexuallyconnotativepractice?

He vanished. Very odd, really.

You've left out "Guinea T"  Those of you from NY and NJ know what I am talking about.  I suppose the PC version would be "Italian American Undergarment"

Who sells a three button vest for a tuxedo?

I guess I'm kind of weird. I have this view in front of me, and I'm in here reading about bathroom improvements:

Are all of your shirts so gauzy that you can see your undershirt?

Who hurt you?

(Declaration of interest: I have no dog in this fight. I don't wear undershirts with dress shirts.)

1. I don't know. But covering the armpit necessitates sleeves, and once you have sleeves, all bets are off.

2. No, but they are not 60 count cardboard

3. Americans think no undershirt is a show of machismo (or connosseurship: "I want to feel the fine dress shirtings, I tells ya"). Non-Americans think the undershirt is intself a show of machismo.

I like that color scheme. This was the master bathroom we put in our previous house.

Honestly, no clue. I'm all undershirted out. I always wanted to talk about undershirts (see older threads), but I didn't think someone would keep pace with me up to here. Completely excited to talk about underpants, though.

Apologies for interrupting a very interesting discussion about bathrooms, but I've just torn two of my favourite Borrelli shirts in one week. Does anyone know a good online source for them, other than shopthefinest? Thanks!

You'll only get the staples from shop the finest. Other online retailers carry dead stock with weird colors and patterns

Check yoox, ehaberdasher.com and tiedeals

More my style. No need for pesky glass doors. I really miss showers like this. Bloody Brits have appalling bathrooms.
