Easy fix at the tailor. I've done this twice now. :P

Yeah, I'll take it to a local dry cleaners and see what they can do (they have a part time tailor).

One month away from my wedding and I am really trying to get in shape but this is a discouraging sign.

@luv2breformed

Can you summarize everything you noodled thus far in February? I think we've both gotten some great solid help from this thread.

Here's mine.

Very difficult to go wrong with ties from Gerald. He and Diana are pretty awesome.

I don't recognize the last two noodles. But all are excellent choices.

Thanks, I have great mentors in this thread, include you. :slayer:

The last 2 are from Turnbull & Asser. I really wanted to have a charcoal grey in my staple. Was going to go with a grenadine but went with Twill. The second one was a no brainer and it will replace this $40 tie below.

As I lean, the collar rotates a bit around the button.

As far as yours, the biggest problem is not the size but that the points lift off your chest. It looks fine (both size and collar points) with the jacket on.

Thanks for feedback. Actually I think the points lie flat with tie/without jacket as well. Only w/o tie and fully buttoned do they float. It does look odd I agree.

I concur. Well done Noodles.

Thanks for the thoughts on the sport coat.  Much appreciated.  I will have to give it the try-on test and see if I can make it work.  If I decide not to keep it, it's a 42L Zegna Roma cut.

This just in. I can select 1 of Henry Carter's sale ties (any style) to add to my order of silk knits. What should I choose? I am leaning towards to chocolate cashmere knit.

Also, is the silver/beige knit too light? Thanks.
