Yabbut I don't like the way those peaks extend up past the shoulder line. Might work for Bruce Wayne but not for me.

That is sort of similar to mine. Ok so shoes are kind of settled - I will go try on and pick one from the black captoes.


Turndown collar shirt/bowtie/socks/shawl - Brooks Brothers?

They don't really, it's just the angle of the picture. They might look like that to a viewer who is 5ft tall.

Black or white tie seem like the most elegant of outfits and I see elegance and exuberance as being on the opposite ends of the fit spectrum.
On the other hand no other classic menswear outfit so immediately suggest that one is going to a party, celebration or event, which kind of suggests exuberance...

I've bought a lot of socks at BB and they've almost all been utter shit.
