Good Natured Advice Thread (improving a business wardrobe) - Page 1677

Incidentally, apropos northern lights and tieless SC combos, I think this is Leaves of Skoak (correct me if I'm wrong), pics from Put this On. Certainly helps if your Jacket is Liverano and shoes St. Crispins, but the combo is nice. I suppose a standout is also the contrast between shoes and trousers (shoes being lighter).

That's him. Doesn't matter who made it, it looks good.

Incidentally, I picked up this square from NMWA during their recent Euro sale, but it's also available at a Suitable Wardrobe for 30% off. It's really excellent

If you really want to splurge, there are Rubinacci squares. I can't bring myself to spend $90 on a square, but as you can see from Mr. Six's photo, very nice squares (I think that's a Rubinacci Victory he's sporting?).

Nice Instagram you have there. Why do people have Instagram accounts now, instead of tumblrs? I only have the latter, and I have like about two followers, one of whom is someone's pet goldfish. Is tumblr dead? Should I be migrating to instagram?

Also, will I have to find out exactly what a hashtag is in order to operate my instagram account?

I know "pick and pick" is an existing alternative name for this fabric, but to me it sounds like a meth addict with acne. Or the name of a two-dollar shop.

I just posted my thoughts on my Dapper Classics order in the new brands threat.  And, for @kulata , below are pictures of the mid-blue hopsack wool trousers, which I am unfortunately going to return because I do not see myself wearing them regularly:

I have 3 Rubi squares as well and they are just so versatile and easy to wear. I keep looking to add more

I stopped using Tumblr. Too much noise. I use Instagram because there are a number of non SFers across the world who re great dressers and I learn a lot from their fits. Also it filters out all those pictures from Life as in Voxs Tumblr. He's on Instagram so mostly it's martinis or suits. Much better, more personal. Gazman, Guido Wongolini are more active there than here though the latter has come
Back. Many of you are on IG and I follow as well.

I don't use hashtags except to mark Eidos and Drakes so people can find them if interested. Actually trying to keep my following numbers down so manageable (I won't miss fits). I don't care how many followers I have so long as they are folks who can execute and from whom I can learn.

The one in the photo of the sharkskin suit is Villa Lucia, but yes, Rubi. I like those Drake's squares and plan to get one some time before they're sold out everywhere.

I like the last. Most understated.

One of these things is not like the other ...

Are you looking to buy or do you have a specific gap to fill, VVV?
