Good Natured Advice Thread (improving a business wardrobe) - Page 1651

I just fiddled with the dark grey tie/suit look yesterday and like the way it came out, but it was only because of the suit being birdseye that I think the wool/silk blend tie worked, rather than my plain charcoal suit which is slightly darker than the tie. Not sure I would like it with navy but haven't tried it yet.

I think one Patrick Booth may approve. For me, it's too monochromatic.

I'm not saying I think dark gray ties look bad with dark jackets/suits. I'm simply saying I think other colors look better with them.

White trousers would still be seasonally appropriate, in that it would be the correct time of year, but they'd seem a bit odd to me when the high is 60ºF in July.

This is why I could justify the purchase of white cords.

Gentlemen, may I ask that we rein this in right now?

I may have misunderstood the sentiment and if I have I apologise. That said the tone and tenor of this can easily be taken the wrong way, can we rerun to GNA please?

I haven't worn my hair long since college, and I've never worn a dress (in public). So...

CauMan, perhaps a less angry avatar would help you to post more positive things?

Would you be willing to take a bet on that?
