I am firmly in agreement.  A lighter shade ("tobacco@ etc., or light grey) seems perfectly summery to me.  I've been known to roll out a brown suede brogue with linen trews on a summer eve, too.  And they were oxfords.  It's a minefield, isn't it?

I have a few pairs of mid-grey in different shades and fabrics. I wasn't crazy about any of them with it. I realize that sounds crazy. And I only just started drinking.

I don't think you're crazy for saying it.

I think the "northern lights" looks is awful most of the time and I can't really see that jacket looking too good with mid-grey. Great looking jacket, though.

I'm a cowboy and have been on Korean TV as such. This means I can wear them, correct?

@The Noodles keep the PoW tie. Or is it glen plaid? Or are they the same thing? Whatever. It's a classic staple. Keep it.

There's this Canali Kei jacket ~38R for $70 shipped on another forum if anyone's interested

Here is my reason. But feel free to convince me otherwise.

The 3.5 width pow is a Jacquard and Vanda is offering a woven Pow. I personally like woven ties better.

Okay...which one is better for me. Help me pick one.

^ Don't care for either of those

I quite like number 2, although you should be aware that Claghorn Has Spoken on the subject of patterned grenadines, and they are now officially passé.

I understand the general preference, but that doesn't make it logical to sell every tie that could in theory be slightly better for a heavy discount so you can buy something that you might like a little bit better. If you want the Vanda, buy it as well. Besides, you have way more pressing needs than getting a POW tie that is slightly more ideal than the one you have now. A certain amount of buying and selling (even if the latter is at a discount) can make sense, but this just strikes me as frivolous. Just my two cents.

@The Noodles

if we're talking blue-brown striped grenadines, i like this one from shibumi a lot more

that vanda is too busy. it has a lot of lines on it

Just spent an our at my favorite Korean restaurant with my wife. In the entire time we were there no one left before us. Even people who looked like they had already been there for a while. Do Koreans eat for hours when they go out?
