I hate ties that look like they got stuck on the garbage disposal. They just aren't for me...

Thanks. The coat is awesome but I might not keep it. It's possible that none of my trousers go that well with it, which kind of blows my mind.

I sometimes wear derbies with a suit.  Depends on the shoes and suit in question.  Heck, you 'Murricans wear black derbies with suits all the time, doncha?  As for oxfords with an odd jacket, sure - especially tans, suede, spectators and other less formal stuff.  Then again I am quite comfortable wearing a brogued oxford with jeans.  Because fuck everyone.
