I love buying suede shoes and love wearing suede shoes. I love buying textured ties, but rarely wear textured ties.

Not that it'll affect what I wear much, really.
Town suits? Noob, please define. I imagine chocolate brown suedes don't go with everything but they seem pretty versatile. Maybe not with seersucker....

Murl, where comes the hate for loafers?

What y'all are all forgetting is that saturation on SF (which isn't necessarily something to care about) will not bleed over and saturate real life. After 9 months stateside, I'm still the only person I've seen with suede dress shoes.

Also, I'm not saying they go with everything. Just everything that I wear.

I've made my reputation (for better or worse) on being slightly heretical.

Meh, it's not something that I feel terribly strongly about. It's just that when I see thing like "Suede goes with everything" and "I'd only wear suede shoes" that things go a little over board (don't hurt me @Claghorn!). Suede shoes are great, but damn, I'm not going to say that are the most versatile shoe ever made.

SF After Dark.

This is very true. Then again, I don't take queues from what the public is wearing. I do sometimes take queues from what SF is wearing.

By the by, when the hell did this thread become THE thread for discussions about menswear? Well done, y'all.
