This is great news.

Also, I would like opinions on the following ties for my wardrobe:

Wool:

s7-1032755_lifestyle?wid=2000&hei=2000

s7-1032709_lifestyle?wid=2000&hei=2000

Silk:

s7-383163_lifestyle?wid=2000&hei=2000

s7-1032692_lifestyle?wid=2000&hei=2000

s7-1032651_lifestyle?wid=2000&hei=2000

Also, is a 3" wide tie too narrow for my 38R frame? Thank you.

Those all look very nice. In my opinion 3 inches is generally on the narrow side for any frame.

Ymmv

Obviously with knits it is a different story.

The only note I would make is that all those ties look to have a pretty muted color, so you'll need to make sure that the jacket that you wear them with will provide enough contrast and it doesn't all and up looking muddled.

Thanks! I will measure the tie I wore with my navy suit recently when I get home before kopping. I think that is about as narrow as I'd want to ever go.

Not something I've considered much. It just so happens my odd tweed jackets are mostly medium in the color spectrum, so they'd look good with them. However, that would only have happened by chance rather than me making an informed decision. Thanks for the tip.

This two are nice, I would wear them.

Do I get a black pair of oxfords or a dark brown oxford? Which wud be more versatile?
I think that Milton(?) Thread starts off with FOR CBD BLACK IS MORE FORMAL.

For versatility, I would use brown.

I am 38R and even I find 3" too narrow. The first one is the only one that I'd buy.

Yea, but I'm not as afraid of narrow lapels as you, neither am I as particular about my tie width. Perhaps that will change with more time.

The last one is the least fav for me. The other ones look very very nice.

As soon as I am done with meeting the MAN (or Stitchie), I shall walk into RL and grab me a nice pair of F.U. dark brown OXFORDS!

Then I'll come back here and be like...
