It's like saying a rolex is an investment. Yeah, some used Aldens sell for more than new ones due to scarcity. Does that mean I should go buy all the shell aldens I can afford with my savings?

Point being there are more Prada and Hermes products that hold their value than Formosa or Drake (almost nobody has heard of the former), not that you should buy clothing as investments.

Also buying color 4 or even ravello Aldens at MSRP is actually a good investment lol. You could probably flip them easily for profit to some of the members that follow the Alden cult thread.

Welp, I guess I should have sold that prada sportcoat for more money!

I was referring more to the craftmanship and quality of the item for what you pay than your angle.

It's like saying that you bought a limited edition ferrari so you could flip it...

Do the trousers seem too short? Do my legs seem too short? The pants measure at 37.5 inches. Tell me what you guys see.

I am 6 ft/183.4 cm (per the most recent physical exam).

Nice reading. Actually, I am still reading it. Thanks

Trousers look fine Noodles.

A little too short with a little too much cuff for me - so perfect for most of SF.

There's a break, and I can't see your socks. I think they're fine.

And he deleted the pictures again. Omg this is freaking infuriating.

A guy recognized my suit as both bespoke and BnT (I think it was a lucky guess on his part). He complimented my working buttons. He seems like the type to read self-help books on networking. Tried to make conversation. It was a mortifying experience for me. I smiled and nodded.

He was not well dressed. His friend works at Tom James.

I'm 100% positive that he's a nice guy and that I'm an asshole.

For realz?! Isn't BnT known just here and is very exclusively known outside the forum?

Every time I walk through the Capitol or I am at Union Station, I fear someone coming up behind me and saying, "Hey, Noodles!"

And you guys wonder why JRD doesn't post fits... smile.gif

I am somewhat regretting my participation here. I've said some things that could get me in trouble. I do not regret posting pix but I do regret some of the stuff that I've said.
