Define "fine with it".....

She knows and frequently gets annoyed, but knows how much I enjoy clothing.

Lol. "Define 'fine'" is a very good point.
Mine doesn't "know" but is annoyed that I have too much stuff to literally fit in the wardrobes after we have moved. Clothes are not on the 'to enjoy' agenda for her so her empathy is limited.

Yeah, I'm pretty up front with what I pay for stuff and she thinks I am insane.....especially since I don't make all that much money.  Clothing is the one thing I am willing to spend decent chunks of money on.  Every guy has their thing (e.g., cars, boats, watches, guns).....this has become mine.

Yes...edited.  I have a lot of buddies that are into guns and everyone of them is also into trucks and dirt bikes.  Hillbillies.

Trucks, not dirt bikes though. I'm also into wine, philosophy, and good shoes. Don't you pigeonhole me!

I wouldn't mind adding cars, boats and watches to my "hobbies", but that ain't happening.

Shoes go hand in hand with clothing and if they don't, that's no bueno.
