Possibly a silly question, but when choosing between burgundy and oxblood, is one more versitile than the other?

And from what I gather the F last generally fits TTS, is that right? So a 10 in Allen Edmonds would be a 43?
The latter is more versatile. Not saying the former isn't, just that the latter is more.

An even 100 posts since I last checked in and, well...

would these suspenders be a safe option with whatever tie color?

I'm going between burgundy and grey as of now, depending on what I can find.

Hopefully that isn't how you've ever felt during blunt dissection.

Nah, only during my first anatomy practical exam 21 years ago.

Hello, looking for a couple thoughts on fit for this suit. I think I need to get the waist let out a hair and shorten the inseam on the pants a bit. Any other glaring issues? Also thoughts on combination? Thanks for your help noodlers.

@dazedstate It sort of looks like your left shoulder is sloping, causing the bunching on the left side. I don't think the waist needs to be let out, but maybe something could be done for the sloping shoulder. I could be wrong, but thats what i see.

No one should see your braces, so go wild and wear whatever you want.

Hmm never noticed that before. I'll have to investigate. That may well be it. Thank you for your observation.

I literally was that man, the gif is from a cheese rolling thing in Gloustershire, we used to go when I was at uni down that way. It also involved drinking copious amounts of dubious home made cider.

Hey GNAT I need some blue jacket advice. Which one of the following from SS would be a good choice of fabric for a multi-purpose jacket? I understand that ideally I should have a jacket in both warm and cold weather weights, but which would you guys buy first?

Havana Navy Plain in Pure Wool by VBC

Havana Blue Plain Resort in Wool Silk Linen by VBC

Havana Blue Plain in Pure Wool by Reda

Navy.

+1 to navy. The blue plain resort is a brighter blue in person and would be less versatile, IMO.

I cant recall what they have in Hudson in terms of navy jackets, but I prefer that cut to Havana (wider lapels, slightly higher armholes). YMMV depending on your build. The SS thread is also a great resource.
