Now let's talk about circumcision? Is there an etiquette for that? :rimshot:

No hoodies.

The one suede shoe: What's yours?

I'd eventually like to add a pair to my rotation and all opinions are welcomed.

Just one suede shoe? Not like 4? That's tough.

I'd say either a chukka (vass, Alden, CJ, EG) or an Adelaide (Carmina makes a nice one on rain last or GG st James II to name another).

Another option would be the vass mid brown suede wingtip.

Penny loafers are always good in suede.

So many options.

Just one pair for now - something to mix in during the week with a SC.

I'm reigning in the spending and also debating whether to sell off a couple pairs of shoes or look into the possibility of changing them from standard to wide width. More than likely selling.

Well then I still say a mid to dark brown Oxford or chukka, whatever you prefer. If you have certain brand or style preferences I can make specific options if you like.

One suede, mid or dark brown cap toe oxford with medallion. Ala the Vass on NMWA or St. James/II from GG, but with a medallion.

This.  If I were relegated to one, it would be a medallion cap toe in a dark brown suede.

I like Carmina but the narrower lasts do not work for me. I was also seeing some Alfred Sargents on NMWA that looked nice, but my size is gone and I may not be buying these for a little while as it is.

I don't own any Vass yet and I've read many times that sizing can be tricky with them.

I also own and enjoy a couple pairs of G&G.

As far as style, I am not too fussy. I'd probably like to steer away from wholecuts, though.

Lastly, thanks very much for the recommendations Stitchy and NS.

@TM79

Carmina rain last is pretty wide - have you tried that one?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Yessir - that last from them is optimal for me, in fact. I think the other Carmina last I have is Forest. Those look very nice, by the way.

My suedes:

White "Bucks" from Bass. Ivy Style essentials. Not very versatile of course, and maybe worn but a few times in summer. We'll see what they make an appearance with this year.

Bass Buckingham White Bucks.

Brown tassel loafers from Sacoor Bros. I just couldn't live without a pair of these even though they rarely appear either.

Sacoor Brothers, Tassel Loafer in Brown Suede.

Snuff suede Neumoks from Allen Edmonds. If I could have only one pair of suede shoes these would be them. The One Suede!

Allen Edmonds, Neumok in Snuff Suede.

TM, if you are my size, I can help you out pretty good with Vass sizing. smile.gif

No hate Clags, but a one shoe needs a better last.
