I don't have the body for a Tom Ford suit. I am referring to the light grey suit.

#1 - It is more of Murl, being the cool dude that he is, giving me a very generous deal.

#2 - I think people just feel sorry for me...

Seriously, I look terrible in that shade of gray. Hence the sale to sugarbutch.

Formosa Minnis grey fresco - 2 still available in 50R. If you're serious about getting another suit this year and skipping BnT this trip, don't sleep too long on this.

My apologies to Sir @Murlsquirl once again.

This is the blue windowpane Formosa, ja? How 'blue' is it IRL? Looks lighter than the navy birdseye but want to make sure the two aren't too similar

definitely lighter in real life, the glenn plaid, compared to the navy birds eye.

Hmm ... tempting..

Also tempted by this (the same as @Murlsquirl's much-discussed flannel, I think).

But wondering how practical it is for the Australian climate. Does the flannel wear noticeably hotter than similarly-weighted fabrics? How fuzzy is it?

True, "need" was a strong word.  I should have said "my desire for you" is a shoe game that more closely resembles your business dress. From my point of view it would really tie your entire look together nicely.  But, I accept this won't be happening and leave it at that.
