AE are a decent choice if you can get them for around $200. Anything over that is crazy. You can get Carmina these days for less than $400 and the quality is far superior....not to mention the lasts/styling.

Do it on April 3rd. I won't be in London but April 3rd is my Birthday and I'd enjoy know that Mims is in London having lunch that day.

First quality is closer to $300 when tax is included. $200 for seconds maybe....

And yes, I agree....with the depressed Euro, it makes sense to pick up the likes such as Carminas for a great price.

Allen Edmonds and Jalan Swirijaya are the only brands I've ever owned that didn't make my feet hurt in some way at some point. Meermin takes a lot of breaking in (and still isn't great). I had a pair of Carmina for about a month; best fitting of their lasts for me. But it just was uncomfortable and they were traded. Yount shoes fit alright. C&J fit ok. But they aren't actually comfortable. Just not uncomfortable.

They each have a bunch of lasts. Try more!
