This really is not a thread that you can only check on at the end of the day. So much goes on. : (

Let me recap for you:

 - Noodles' Formosas have been sitting in the closet waiting to be altered, which won't happen until Noodles loses enough weight to fit into them.

 - In the meantime, Noodles has been wearing the same suit everyday.

 - Noodles coworkers have taken up a collection to buy him a Joseph A. Banks gift card to get some suits because they have noticed him wearing the same threadbare and ill fitting suit everyday.

 - @TM79 is going to make Ms. Noodles an offer of a designer handbag for all four of Noodles unaltered suits hanging in the closet.

 - Headbanging and eyerolling abound in the GNAT thread as people are in disbelief that Noodles is refusing to alter and wear his Formosa suits and is still wearing the same ill fitting suit that spurred this thread a year ago.

That is mind-boggling amazing and not even remotely surprising all at the same time.

That said, Noodles, I can relate to your apprehension, as I had a similar kind of apprehension when I first started buying much higher level items. However, what you need to do is just take a deep breath and wear your gear.

If you end up needing to alter it again later, so be it. In the meantime enjoy what you have.

I was thinking there is definitely enough material in here for a Korean drama of some sort...  His Precious Suits

I wanna buy a summer tie or two from Vanda for a med cruise in June.

Was thinking about a cream/light-tan SB suit as one option, maybe another cream in a DB or a Blue for another, with an assortment of odd trousers.

Something like this…

Which two ties would you pick?

green-white-striped-grenadine.jpg

slate-blue-green-silk-linen-grenadine.jpg

Thanks!

And Noodles, love the Formosa's … they're feeling neglected and wanna be worn. wink.gif

If you went with a tan suit and blue sport coat, I'd pick ties 1 and 4.

2 + 3  too.  Darker is more versatile; green is tricky against a blue (shirt) ground but everyone should have one or two green ties IMO. beautiful ties!
