Good belts, you can get them cheap if you order direct from one of the UK stores.

Good point, I just have too many shoes and have been cleaning them out. Ones I don't wear are the formal ones at the moment as I don't have to dress up for now. Just want to get a real job soon in case I want to do MBA or something like that

I feel like I have a reasonable general plan, not so sure about the foundation on which it rests. Would like some feedback regarding keepers, but also recs on good versatile fabrics and patterns, and possibly particular pieces based on my stated preferences. For example somebody posted a blue wool/silk blend SC w/ patch pockets from HY a day or two ago whose measurements on paper seem to be spot on for me. Wondering if anyone has experience with the actual item or its equivalent and can comment on fit and quality? Would it fulfill one component of my stated plan? That kind of thing. I understand in the end it's a subjective decision, but it seems like a good idea to get help in navigating from those with more time behind the wheel. Aka the Style Council.

Will try to follow up tomorrow, hopefully with pics. Must. lose. more. lbs.

On HY shoes:

I'm happy with mine. I'll get another pair at some point, probably something like these:

L2BF:

A few were purged that maybe shouldn't have been. What looks to be a plain blue striped shirt should be kept (2nd picture), as should the blue and brown tattersall (last picture)

Calm down, they're not terrible. They seem a little too big for you though. Do they feel ok when you walk?
