Yes.

If you guys have any tie recommendations for ME, then please feel free to post them. I need ties that are currently out of my comfort zone. I think most of you all know what ties I already have.

I would hope that no people in the world think that. Brown is probably the best color for a tie ever.

Nice to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that a CBD tie rotation needs at least one stripe, Noodles.  Clags and SB, I'd wear every one of those ties happily except perhaps the navy pindot.  I don't have any reason not to like them; I just don't.

Haha, true enough.

Noodles, if you want to stretch a point, I have a recommendation: your first (to my knowledge) cashmere tie.  I already have too much green in my wardrobe, else I'd be all over this.

Surprised you didn't include a navy pindot. I'd put that over a navy neat for pure CBD.

Huh. For a CBD FirstFive, I'd probably go with all neats: two navy, one burgundy, one dark green, and one brown. I think dry, solid silks are kinda iGenty. I almost never see anyone but clothing nerds wearing them. Grenadines are definitely iGenty, but I do love the finas.

I CANNOT SEE MYSELF IN THAT!!!

But then again, I did ask for ties that are out of my comfort zone. I shall consider.

Thanks

I don't think it's right for you, Noods.

I like brown, but I can never find the right shade. Honestly I think it looks a bit old mannish, but I have also seen it tie in brown shoes very well with navy. A top 5? Not so much.

Anyone looking for a grey 40R/50R sport jacket?

I have one that I need to unload asap.

I would agree re the stripe.

No pics or links, but my first 5 would be:

1. Solid navy challis or grenadine

2. Solid brown challis or navy

3. Small neat on burgundy ground

4. Small neat on green ground

5. Simple tasteful stripe

Don't get me wrong. I like brown ties a lot. I'm just not sure they do enough that burgundy doesn't to say they are in a top 5 list.

Of those I like 36 and 56 the best. Can't tell from my monitor if the green is a nice dark shade or a touch too bright. Can't go wrong with the navy, obv.
