I agree with Unbel. When I think birdseye, I think charcoal or navy wool.

There are better weaves for tan - plain weave/fresco/hopsack/panama

Lolokbuddy. The Marlow is an MC shoe that easily crosses into SWD, and its one of the few shoes that is worn by folks on both sides.

A2 - I mostly just dont like the color of that fabric.

Billy Reid.
Seems like they have narrow lapels and high button stance on a lot of their jackets.
Any thoughts on this one?

Billy Reid isn't worth the money. Very fashion forward

This is true. Stay away from Nordstroms, Noodles.

I'm going to buy a topman trench/peacoat. Forgive me, but I'll freeze to death otherwise.

I forgot my coat in Cambridge. frown.gif

I actually think they're fine for the price though.

Thx noodlers~

Marlow is an excellent shoe. Especially with more country/casual outfits.

I wear mine with cords and moleskin all the time.

If a Corthay Arca is the 10 of sleekness...I would rate the Marlow a 3.

However, considering they are two very different shoes for very different occassions...if we were to rate the Marlow strictly against other shoes in the same category (vass budapesters, etc.) I would rate it a 6.
