Good Natured Advice Thread (improving a business wardrobe) - Page 998

I have something similar to the first, also from NMWA (is that a Bigi in the pic?):

I quite like it though I know a few were against it earlier in this thread.

I think this is one of the most vital threads in the MC forum. Most of my favourite posters hang out in this thread and even though the discussions vary it always circles back to MC. I like the general chat feeling of this thread, but with the MC focus at heart. It has evolved.

Yeah! It's become a nice place for people to ask questions and to get recs from a bunch of regulars they actually see and hang out with on other parts of the forum.

Thoughts on something like this as a winter shoe?

I don't know how i feel about PTB's but price is right and grain adds some visual interest. Mini lug sole.

Wish they were chukkas though, I guess.

Also, I really don't like blutchers. Can someone help me get over this? Like I see these shoes, which look pretty nice, and all I think is that they'd just look better if they were oxfords...I definitely like these a lot more than others I've seen though!

Do not buy either of these ever.

Noodles, I would have taken that deposit and withdrew it in cash immediately, then wait it out. You suck at life.

Stitchie you crazy.

The accountant in me said, they HAVE TO reconcile all accounts and they WILL find the missing deposit.

Anyways, the $65k belonged to the customer who came in after me. LOL

What's wrong with them? Esp the second pair. That was kind of nice.

Are you just using reverse psychology to make me want them now?

I much prefer derbies because of their casualness. I don't wear suits often. (SCs + trousers instead)

Do you wear suits every day? If not, you should be wearing derbies

I rarely wear suits.

I just don't like how derbys look, esp on my small feet (8E/8.5D).

Yeah, I don't mind them on boots, esp chukkas. I'm getting rid of my blutcher boots. Too chunky. Prefer chelseas and slightly less chunky boots.

Hello Mrs. Noodles. Have you taken over your husband's account?
