I'm (probably) done with squares for a bit having accumulated enough from eBay at the beginning of my sartorial journey but a few Drake's in the end. But if I had to choose a few more, then these:

Exquisite Trimmings

Drake's from NMWA

NMWA Calabrese

Out of my league (Rubinacci, Exquisite Trimmings)

Links to the ones you're wearing? They look great.

Am I alone in thinking that many of the Rubinacci squares look rather tacky?

@unbelragazzo, not a fran of that particular Royal fair isle. Too yellow.

But I can appreciate other earth tone fair isles.

It is definitely purple as you can see in my pic.

Between these three, I think I'm covered for any color matching for the rest of my life. I'm happy with the third, but worth noting it is slightly stiffer than the drake's (maybe due to the slightly different w/s ratio?). The ET unicorn comes from Robert Keyte as do the Drake's unicorn squares, I believe. Puffs fine and they all have the nice drier hand in this w/s mixes.

Shopping facts most of you know anyway (Click to show)

At ET, SF members get a discount + VAT discount, and there was a free shipping promotion recently so it made a lot of sense to buy a few. Even with shipping, I suspect that if you get a few it is worth it, but PM Shaya if you have questions. Later in the season, Shaya often drops 20-30% (at least in the past).

There's some overlap between NMWA and ET Drake's, though each has a few that the other does not (I don't think the first square is available at NMWA and the navy rust I linked to earlier isn't available at ET). Anyway, they both are great vendors, have the best selection of squares. We should support them (non SF vendors are pricing Drake's squares much higher (Mr. Porter, East Dane)).

Thanks, appreciate it. I'll look into a few of those. Is the free shipping promotion still active?

EDIT: Nevermind, it does.

Speaking of sweaters I just got a few delivered from woolovers. They seem very chunky compared to the uniqlo ones I have. A bit scratchiet too, but in a good way. Obviously I only just got them but reviews seem positive wrt durability, so they seem like good pickups for rough wear, especially for the price.

Do we have any martial artists here?

I want to take up on box but I am 32 and think I may be too old.

I've been thinking about doing that too. You're not too old, especially if you don't spar. I wouldn't spar tbh.

They have good articles!!!

wait...wouldn't sparring prepare you better for real life situation? Then again, showing up to the office with a black eye or swollen face isn't the best practice.

You can work on reflexes without sparring. I'd prefer to avoid getting head trauma or a black eye due to an over eager punch. Try it out? A lot of places do open hours for like 10-15 bucks.

Planning on getting in brawls or joining a fight club?

I used to box....training without sparring is like being told you can lick a doughnut but not eat it.
