Don't complain about traffic until you've been in Jakarta...

@Academic2 I prefer chalkstripes and I personally won't consider any stripes with less than 0.5 inches spacing.

Boston is an awesome walking city. I would not drive in the city. And I noticed that Bostonians honk a lot.

There was a sign out on the road that said:

"Make yah motha proud, wear yah seatbelt"

I cracked up.

Haha no, not even close. 2000 was only 222. But a zippy 222. They bumped it up to 255? the next model year.

No motor, bike loses.

Current models have 290 hp. I hope the next gen have like 400 hp

Given Stitchy beats my suit game and my SC/odds I would guess he beats my Beemer too.

Nissan makes some solid engines. IIRC the V6 in the 2002 onwards Maxima/G35 won several "best of" awards.

Yup. They're designs are...compared to Honda and Toyota...trendier. I don't know what happened with Honda and Toyota but they really started going conservative in their designs.

I wish. I might could beat you in a drag race on the highway/city streets, with cars around. Thats really more about who is a bigger nut job than the performance of the cars, but in a straightway, youd crush me. Though the V6 Accord is real nice, and has solid pickup, I know when she is outmatched.

Also, those commercials for the new electronic BMW. Hoooooooooooooooooly

Car thoughts:

- they don't need to be expensive to be cool.  i'm a BMW guy and the most expensive one I've purchased has been by far my least favorite.  One of my top three favorites cost less than US$2k (if anyone else is into Bimmers, it was an e30).  The other two favorites were both under US$15k

- "fast" is over-rated.  It's always more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow

- a Maxima may have 300hp but it got no soul

- like Mimo I currently don't own a car (at least not where I live), although my rental is not as crappy as his (it's a 2014 Accord automatic).  All of this talking about cars really makes me want to buy one, so to fight this urge I think I will take what I would otherwise spend on my first month's payment and order another pair of Vass while expensing my boring rental

If I could afford a car right now, I'd have one of those scion/subaru collabs.

scion?!

Isn't that like the opposite version of Lexus by Toyota?
