Here's an image of that gorgeous briefcase from the Brooks Bros site:

What I particularly like is that it has expandable gussets which offer a huge amount of interior space if needed (and I do occasionally need it - I carry cameras, books and all sorts of other weird and wonderful stuff at times).

But does it get the SF tick of approval?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Fuck yes buy it! It's awesome! Will need to save and hope they bring it to Messico!

@BespokeKiwi that seems like a nice collection to start (over) with. But perhaps add some textural variety?

OT, since you obviously have some history there, how do you view events in HK at the moment....?

Question for the SoCal folks - I am going to have a half a day to kill around Del Mar today. Any must see or must eats?

Cox, the briefcase looks nice enough. Personally not my thing, though.

Noodles, what size is the PRL? And did you buy it new or second-hand?

Same here - briefcase isn't my thing at all but it's not like I can find any fault with it objectively speaking.

Not getting this, but how is this stylistically?

Polo for some reason won't give side vents with two buttons. Maddening.

It's kinda inbetween. I, personally, don't love the lapels, but I feel like the suit's too light to fit in with chalkstripes, and too much a hard-finished chalkstripe to fit in with a more casual setting. I'd like it better in a flannel, but that's almost always how I feel about a chalk stripe.

Edit: the cut reminds me of the suits @oldog/oldtrix used to post, which I think were from Polo. Mostly in the lapel shape and shoulder.

Probably not what you are looking for, but The Village Mill Bread Co is awesome. Outstanding challah...love the chocolate chip and the raisin.
