Did you buy the measuring tape yet?

This is promoting bad thinking in Noodles.

Everyone should be thinking in terms of hard numbers, not "I went up one size in X brand vs. Y brand." You should only be using the latter for approximation if you understand the former. This is not Noodles' case. He isn't thinking in terms of hard numbers yet and it would benefit him to start doing that

Hmmm they usually provide measurements. Why not PM gdl?

In that case, he should send Greg or Kyle an email as measurements are not online, yet.

edit:
Noodles, I have not tried wearing it over a suit but from my experience it would be quite slim I imagine.

I think the solution here is to banish the "hipster" thought from your mind. It's such an amorphous concept that it's little more than pejorative. Most of my tie clips (and all of the pins) come from my wife's grandfather who died in the mid-'70s. Not too many hipsters at the Douglas Aircraft factory...

Also: NOODLES! Stop individually spoilering pics, dudebro. That is so tedious. Spoiler en masse and save us the clicks.

I liked your hot noodle joke....

I'm between a 48 and 50 in Formosa, and took a 52 (over a suit) for the LBM Polo coat.

That's what I was planning as well. Try a 52 and see. I think grey is better than navy since most of my suits are navy.

Ooops! Sorry! I just didn't want to fill up a page with my stupid pictures! No more spoilers unless it is a repost!

I have bothered Greg too much on Formosa so I am a bit reluctant. LOL

Good color choice. If you really want that grey one, I'd order both the 52 and 54 right now and then see which one is more comfortable over your Formosa.

I hope to do away with my slim fit overcoat(?) that I could only wear after I have taken off my suit jacket.

@Sotiris - which Formosa suits do you have?

Grey would most likely be the one I would get.

I have the H&S grey sharkskin, Drapers blue flannel nailhead and Caccioppoli tan solaro.

You're probably a 54 in the LBM polo coat, but I didn't save the measurements from last year's coats in my spreadsheet.

Sharskins and blue flannel?!
I will be digging thru ur profile for some pix, if they're there. I am wait8ng to click checkout on NMWA as soon as they restock on navy birdseye.

54?! I guess I will ask Greg or Kyle for some measurements. I was think8ng 52.
