Why care about versatility when you have 20+ ties already, much less 20+ brown ones?

Much prefer the wool one Steff nod[1].gif

I've not seen them in the wild before except one on Pingson. Pingson is a tall guy, so maybe that contributes to my perception, but the knot seemed a bit tiny. Anyone with experience? Some of the patterned grenadines area quite nice.

Another vote for the wool tie.

I like the silk

I am leaning slightly towards the woolly one myself . They make some excellent ties btw and they have increased the width by a cm this season. Very nice people to deal with too

The first one is a clear staple.

James Hook lobster rolls are off the charts!

Lobster rolls are awesome. I eat a lot of them when back in Boston.

Better than the lobster rolls you get in DC? biggrin.gif
post #12356 of 37396
I'll give DC crab, but lobster is better in New England.

Yeah, my statement was tongue in cheek. I think James Hook's roll has twice as much lobster meat as an average roll you can get in DC. Can't get a decent cannoli around here either.

I have been wondering this week why I should continue to live in dc whe there are places like boston. Does dc have anything good or better to offer?
