Philly is the one city where I would hesitate to wear a rival team's jersey. Maybe a SF Giants jersey in certain parts of LA as well. Residents of most other cities realize it's just a game.

Agreed - Philly is really rough, and SF/LA hate each other. Last year there was a stabbing because of that rivalry.

Have you ever been to boston (yes I know you're from the area). People go nuts for stuff like this. Seriously, wearing a yankees hat will get you screamed at and cursed at in the streets.

I wouldn't wear a Yankees jersey in Boston right after the 2003 ALCS, but the Red Sox have won three World Series since then, so I imagine most Bostonians are over it. Living well is the best revenge, after all.

I'd say I've been to about 300 Red Sox games between 2003 and the end of this season and I think that is a very accurate statement and those have been my sentiments as well. The occasional drunk college student or whatever may make you think this isn't the case, but it just isn't true ...

The late 90's into the early to mid 2000's were the peak of it all - and as an aside, nothing in baseball for me will ever top seeing Pedro pitch in his prime. What he did in '99 and '00 is way better than what Kershaw did this year, and that is taking nothing away from Kershaw's talent.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I guess it's a good excuse to drink though as there's little else to do there!

DC just lets every team, especially the Cowboys, just walk all over them.

I get that DC has people from all over the country but dang Redskins fans are somewhat passionate but Nationals fans couldnt care any less.

When the Phillies won the Series in '08, they put up this charming billboard in my little PA town:

It's fair to say Philadelphians take their baseball a little too seriously.

Headed to Boston with just a sweater

We mostly tolerate Dodgers fans up here. Mostly.

Some final thoughts about these? I think it's turned out okay. Trousers for the first one is too tight but that can't be helped as I'd said.

The newer trousers feel much better, I think you can see from the back it's much nicer too, especially considering I wanted it quite slim. I've also got these pairs with single reverse pleats and I have to say it feels amazing I am completely sold on pleats.

I personally don't think the pulling at the button is a big deal, but I guess it is noticeable. What do you guys think? Should I ask to have it less waistd? I feel like the shape is good atm, and the crease is unavoidable with such a light weight fabric

@Isolation always like following your post on fitting pic and seeing your experience overall.

understand your slight disappointment as Dream is like one of the star in the mid price range in the hk forum

not that im telling you to stick with them, but one really need a few trial and error before getting something fit, thats why use lower cost fabric for the first few commisson for this purpose

also, I remember earlier you should have some stuff with Moda ?

The Redskins have let me down for the last 20 years...

I think I am their most pessimistic fan...and I seriously question every season why I remain a fan...except that I have always been one...

But they definitely have a very passionate fan base...which is why they have the second largest revenue of any team in the NFL...behind Dallas.

And also, because this needs to be said...Dan Schneider, the owner the of the Redskins, is a bastard and a terrible owner. He should be ashamed.

As someone who became a fan after Joe Gibbs 1.0, I strongly agree with your comment. I dont know why but I always think this will be the season that they turn the corner. NOT!

Yo noodlemeister, let me know when over the next few days you'd be able to hang. There's a few cool cafes around here that we could meet up at. Maybe some of the other beantown folks will join us?
