I will try not to derail with too much moral/political ramblings, but I want to be on record saying that the attitude towards the nudes situation is appalling and I think less of anyone who seeks out these photos.

More (Click to show)

Simply put, I do think that if somebody robs someone and in the process leaves their door open and/or their possessions vulnerable, it would still be wrong for you to steal these things, or to accept stolen goods if they are offered to you; you are intentionally reaping the rewards of crime. Just because you didn't do the hacking doesn't mean intentionally breaching someone's privacy is acceptable.

Furthermore complaints about people being stupid/naive for being caught is awful, because it puts the blame on the victim when it's irrelevant as to whether it's a crime against them. If I understand it, the photos involved WERE stored securely. You seriously going to tell me that nobody has anything private stored on cloud or their emails or anything that can be hacked? As I said not that it even matters, but we're not even talking about a situation where someone left extremely sensitive data in an extremely easy to reach place, we're talking about very skilled hackers hacking some fairly high profile targets, we're not talking about guessing some grandma's password here. This whole victim blaming culture is awful. There are ALWAYS things we can do to make us less of a target, for a start you should probably all stop posting any photos on this forum, I bet it's possible for quite a few people to be mocked if we were all exposed to be as obsessed with clothes as we are. Looks like the solution is to not take the photos to begin with. I guess if a gay person is afraid of being outed as gay in a conservative enviroment the best way to go forward is to not be gay as well yes? So you're suggesting basically nobody ever do anything that can put them in any kind of danger of being exploited because if they are unfortunate enough for that to happen it's their fault for not being careful? What happened to living life to the fullest?

Also there's a huge double standard when it comes to when it's someone's fault for something. Like if a woman gets raped it's her fault for not being careful, but the rapist himself is unlucky for being caught and having their young careers ruined, or if a sports announcer says something homophobic/racist privately and gets recorded/overheard, it's unlucky that he got found out. Like literally we have people's private photos stolen and it's the victim's fault, then we have rapists who publically tweeted information and photos of the rape they were committing and people are still saying how unlucky and unfortunate they are to have been noticed by the greater internet and forced to take account for their actions. jfc people. And no the two situations are not unrelated, they are both about invading the body and privacy of women.

Oh and people who talk about how they should have information on a hardrive? What so harddrives/USBs can't be hacked? Stolen? What if they want to access it online, what if they travel? In fact, Edison Chen's data WAS stolen from his computer, not on the cloud, so which is it, where should we store it?

I do not keep create send or seek out nudes in my relationships, but if people want to do it, I would not judge it. I don't see what's wrong with wanting to celebrate/share their body/sexuality with people they care about. I would never have sex videos taken of myself if I can help it, but I think it's actually outrageous that the HK government decided that they should condemn Edison Chen's healthy if somewhat more enthusiastic than average attitude towards sex, ie. they do as they please it's their fucking business.

Please enough of the political crap and naked pictures, there are sub-forums for that, all we want to do is talk about clothing and related topics.

Hey guys, what your opinion on this hat? I like it, but want to steer clear of the "vintage look". I like vintage style, but I want to be able to wear it in a more contemporary classic style. Is that possible in your opinion?

Not saying it's impossible, but I don't think I could do it.

Just say:

There's this guy I met on the internet who helps me get dressed and asks me to take pictures of myself. I don't know his name, but he said to pass along his regards to you.

I dress like that. Wouldn't wear plaid though. Plaid adds like 10 pounds. Especially to Asians.
