Those are nice. But there are probably at least 2 dozen ties on the Hober site I would buy, and many more from Vanda and NMWA as well.

NOT TO MENTION EG CAPPELLI!!!!!

I have been to ALLLLLLLLL, except that last one.

Noodles, for someone who dresses as conservatively as you do, I would think pin dots can be a good choice.  From Hober:

I know opinions are mixed on purple ties, but I've always kind of liked a purple neat with a navy suit:

Then you suck at shopping.

I started with Vanda, and just at glance, I would happily buy all these, and thats just from a little bit of scrolling, not even the full collection.

You need to open your damn eyes and broaden your horizons. NO hate, because your recent fits have been real nice, but they all look pretty much the same. Im not saying you need to be all over the place and wear totally different things on different days, but you can certainly break out a little bit with some variety and still keep within your general vibe.

Clags is a good example of that. He definitely has a very consistent and defined style, but he has a lot of variety in his ties.

This thread makes me feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day, or if I were in a more elitist mood I'd say it reminds me of Nietschze's concept of die ewige Wiederkehr des Gleichen

@The Noodles you have enough ties. Get a grey suit (any shade of grey). it's more urgent IMHO of course biggrin.gif
post #11678 of 37536
I dont think he has nearly enough ties, but I agree he should get a gray suit first.

I want so many grenadine stripe ties from hober I'm shocked you can't find anything you like.

I am considering something like a solid light gray suit.

Or something like this but something that I can wear for three seasons.

...but I think I need to pick up my Formosa jacket first.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I feel like I should move away from pindots. I think I have enough for now.

I have a Drake's navy pindot shantung tie that I like. (I also picked it up in black).

Either wears just fine IMO with a medium gray suit (I don't own a light gray).

Noodles.  Before you go to bed, post the motherloving group shot of your twenty ties.  Then, when you wake up, I will have given you ten more.

I wonder what his excuse for pulling out all his ties for a group photo sesh will be. Will the wifey put two and two together?

Yeah, good point - Noodles, don't do it in the fucking bathroom, man up.

He is selling them on ebay to fund a 529 college plan for their future kids.

@The Noodles do it, but before you do, post your Formosa.
