I see guys in that blue birdseye suit all over Chicago.

For a few months, but then it gets better.

I have seen GITS, but not in a while. I recently rewatched SAC and SAC:2G. Project 2501 looks cool.

I had a dream last week of myself wearing something this color:

I've been lusting after it ever since.  I thrift, so it might take me a while to find it, but I did find a navy Corneliani with a royal blue pinstripe last week and I love it.

WRT Other kids movies: Agree on Miyazaki's work, though it can be heavy and bloody (E.G. Naussica or Mononoke). Aside from Ponyo/Howl/Spirited Away/Naussica/Totoro they've enjoyed Porco Rosso and The Secret World of Arietty (though Miyazaki did not direct that one). Wreck it Ralph, Tangled, and Frozen are also big and I like them because they focus on theme's beyond standard Disney movies. Ralph is a movie with very heavy social commentary undertones. I'm actually pretty convinced that Frozen - apart from being a story about how love does not have to be romantic love - is in some way an allegory about mental illness. Tangled is obviously about learning how to deal with abusive relationships and be self sufficient.

For kids shows though - that everyone can watch, it's hard to beat My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Aside from having a compelling story that is consistently well written, the characters are dynamic and it constantly pokes fun at its own saturday morning special-esque tropes.

I forgot about Tangled. I like that one too.

Is it odd that my son wants to be Rainbow Dash and wants my wife to play Pinky Pie and me Apple Jack?

Just don't wear that. It looks horrible.

I don't think so. My son's favorite is also Rainbow Dash. He needs a new rainbow dash hoodie for the school year, so we're commiting a huge family sin and all getting an MLP hoodie - Rainbow for him, Twilight Sparkle or Applejack for my daughter, Fluttershy for my wife, and Pinkie Pie for me.

Why do you say that? The color is very nice, fabric is probably good as well. The cut is obviously not for everyone but aside from that I don't think it's near horrible. If it is the cut/fit that you have issue with I can understand your opinion though.

That cut is not for anyone.

I feel this. Big time. Damn song goes through my head all day. baldy[1].gif

Was on a flight the other day listening to music and all of the frozen songs were out of me head. Took off my earphones when we landed and what did they play during taxi? Oh you know.

Kops reduces and then resumes.

Kops before marriage: Every week

Kops after marriage: Only on your birthday and Christmas

Old picture, but it's not a bad cut at all:

AppleMark

AppleMark

(it's for sale!)

I was actually referring more to the color.  I am slim, but I don't like my jackets to bunch when I button them, and I would never wear pants that short.

As with many clothes, it's entirely possible that they look passable while standing rigidly straight up and down so that you are basically a manequin. However, clothes should move with you not against you. It's more than just the fit pic.

Even so, take a look at your picture and notice all of the places where the fabric buckles - being too tight and then too lose. Look at how the back of the arm comes forward and all the little ripples. Look at how rumpled the seat is. At the same time, your thigh is visible along the inside of the leg - it's lose and tight in horrible places. That isn't because the pic is taken at the end of the day, it's because the cut doesn't work on your body.

The color is sort of meh. That cut is just not built for humans.

Then they get older and tell you to fuck off.  Then you realise they really are sentient beings, and you learn to love them all over again.  It is awesome.
