I would buy a set. The Armoury might buy a few hundred to give out to customers or use as scotch coasters.

Dopey remains the most unappreciated poster of all time.

The most enjoyable Pitti reporting in addition to Styleforum

Now that it's over, all that's left is to assign blame.

Who won Pitti 85?

Browsed through the "Kid Mero" commentary above, I liked it. I really like the pants of the person on the far right with the turtleneck sweater http://cdnl.complex.com/mp/620/400/80/0/bb/1/ffffff/fe17dc9987840ec494be11e616e5a0fc/images_/assets/CHANNEL_IMAGES/STYLE/2014/01/kid-mero-pitti-uomo-street-style/mthql_9_811995.jpg

any idea what kind of pants those are? Would that be a flannel wool?

Yea... I don't think you really understood what Kid Mero was saying.

Ah when I said I liked his commentary, I only meant I enjoyed it not that I agreed with everything he said.

This is Benedikt, one of the founders of a brand of men's accessories called Shibumi Berlin.

So great that Pitti is getting covered from an informative & humorous angle on Styleforum!

We, the Sartor Resartus Team, attended Pitti Uomo for the first time this year to get a glimpse into the big Menswear world, and wrote up our impressions in a Journal Entry (with some photos too). Wanted to share it with SF members because Pitti from the perspective of 'young naive first-timers' is rarely covered in the traditional media (it's all about the street style peacocks or the high profile topics) and we thought that you would appreciate it.

We visited almost 1000 vendors, fully immersed ourselves into the blogger madness of the Fortezza and met some great people from all continents of the world in the process, and everyone was incredibly friendly, open and passionate! We learned more about personal style and the menswear spirit in 4 days than we ever thought possible and can highly recommend it to anyone who is passionate for the industry!

Here is the link to our article http://www.sartor-resartus.co.uk/blogs/journal/11702329-pitti-uomo-85  could also embed the full article as a post if that is preferred (not so familiar with the rules yet!)

^^^I enjoyed your write up. Trade shows can be such a grind in any industry. It is always refreshing to see participants having fun with it.
