Are Polo Ralph Lauren's "mesh" polo shirts the same as the classic "pique"?

It seems to be that the classic polo shirts from Polo Ralph Lauren used to be referred to as "pique" on their website and in the stores. Now I can't find any mention of "pique". Instead I see the term "mesh" used everywhere. I'm confused because I seem to recall "mesh" always having been used, even when the term "pique" was, and always thought it was a different, lighter-weight fabric specifically for warm weather.

PS - I've searched Google and haven't been able to find any instance of anybody discussing this topic.

Anybody know? Anybody notice the same drop of the use or "pique" or am I imagining that?

You can do a search for pique on the Ralph site and still get some results.
But I think pique and mesh are pretty much the same shirts.
