Tried on the blue polka socks I got in the mail today. Thanks for the free pair, I really appreciate it! Love the color and it really stayed on the entire day. That being said, that's probably because I'm so short it went over my calf rather than midcalf. Unfortunately, the heel of the sock doesn't line up with the heel of my foot so I don't think these socks fit me. Shame, I never wear fun socks because all the major brands sell socks to sizes 8+. Great socks and price otherwise!

Thought Id share my experience dealing with Nice Laundry, which has been nothing but pure Customer Service awesomeness.

I had been looking for nice dress socks for a while just as NL popped up as an affiliate on SF, and as such decided to have a look at it and give it a try.

I also noticed that the free pair of sock offer was limited to US customers and I emailed them asking if they would ship me my free pair if I was to order a set of 6 socks, which they quickly agreed to.

Socks ended up never showing at my door even though the USPS website said they had been delivered, which was no doubt due to a mistake from Canada Post. I contacted the guys at Nice Laundry to see if they had any more information than me as to where my socks might be. After a very quick e-mail exchange (I was getting answer past 9pm at night...) Phil very promptly offered to send me a brand new set of 6 socks as he wanted me to get them as fast as possible.

As far as the socks, well I just received them and I love them. Sure they are a little more on the fun side of dress socks, and its either your thing or its not, but the quality is great, and they hold extremely well for non-OTC socks.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. We are working on a smaller size, which should be out this year.

Glad we could help you out! Phil is a workaholic, he picks up customer care phone calls at 2 AM, much to the surprise of the customer on the line who was mentally running through the voicemail he was going to leave.

Anywho, thanks for the feedback and let us know if you ever need anything.

Got a batch of socks from Nice Laundry.  Love the camo pattern!

I am in the process of a complete sock drawer makeover.  How do these compare to J.Crew which have a similar composition?

NEW RELEASE: NICE LAUNDRY SPRING/SUMMER 2014

We’re very excited to announce the launch of our Spring/Summer 2014 collection. This new release stresses crystal blues, deep teals and punchy hues of orange.

There are two packs in particular that we think you guys will appreciate: Rebel and Night Owl.

Rebel

“We were young and strong, we were running against the wind. Steve McQueen was your childhood hero and you still have a soft spot for him, even if his poster is now stored away somewhere…”

Rebel features a classic argyle pattern in three colors, plus three pairs of contemporary colorblock socks. A little taste from two different worlds. This one has been selling like hotcakes and will go pretty quickly.

Night Owl

“You hoot with the owls and crow with the roosters, but slipping into the cool, velvety dark will always be the better of the two…”

Night Owl is a clever pack, featuring bold patterns on the foot and a conservative black or navy blue on the calf. We had a lot of requests from customers to make a sock that would transition easily from a buttoned-up work environment to the bar, and this is it. Night Owl is another one of our best-sellers so far.

As always, the quality is unchanged and the pricing is still as affordable as ever. Our sock drawer makeover is $99 with free shipping. You'll get 18 pairs of brand-new socks plus a free shipping label to send us back your old, unwanted socks for recycling.

Don’t take our word for it, though. Here’s what some Styleforum members had to say:

Thanks again, and best of luck.

Cheers,

By the way, will you eventually offer more specific sizing for your socks such as 7-9, 9-11, 11-13?

"One size fits all" type socks tend to run too large for me as well.  Look forward to this update.

We're both based in DC. Have you partnered with any local brick and mortar shops?

Any over the calf models on the horizon? OTC socks in interesting colors/patterns are pretty hard to find so I think they would do well.

I know they should be in "Redeem", " Lost Boys", "Federal" , and out side of DC the "Denim Bar" for sure.
